Detailed Itinerary :
DAY 01: Arrival Cochin - Athirapally
(85kms/2hrs)Greeted by Kerala Dreaming representative
at Cochin airport and transferred to Athirapally near
the entrance to the Sholayar forest range. A
shimmering expanse of tranquil beauty, the highlight
is a breathtaking 80 ft high waterfall. Check in to
your Hotel . Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at
Hotel.
DAY 02: Athirapally - Calicut
(170kms/5hrs)Drive to Calicut, the traditional capital
of North Kerala a leading trading centre for spices on
the west coast. Enroute visit 'Kalamandalam' a centre
founded with the objective of reviving, preserving and
developing the ancient and traditional art forms of
Kerala. Visitors can also spend a day with the masters
and witness artists and teachers in action. Proceed to
Calicut and check into your resort. Rest of the day at
leisure. In the evening go for a relaxing cruise in
your private houseboat through the stunning backwaters
of Calicut. Cruising along palm fringed banks and
watching the sunset is a truly exhilarating
experience. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 03: Calicut
Visit the fish markets or venture into Calicut town to
visit the Sweet Meat Street and the many colourful
shops. Visit the boatyards in Beypore which have been
building vessels since early centuries for legendary
seamen. The astounding feature is the way in which the
boats are built wherein the skilled craftsmen build
boats based on just experience-without any drawings or
charts. Later in the evening visit the Hindustan
Kalaripayattu centre to witness the Kalarippayatu
(Martial arts) demonstration. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 04: Calicut – Vythiri
(80kms/2hrs)Drive to Wayanad set in the picturesque
Western Ghats and mountains at an altitude of about
2000 meters above sea level. Littered with tropical
rain forests, dense hills, rolling paddy fields, spice
plantations and valleys, Wayanad is a hitherto
undiscovered location offering breathtaking views.
Check into a rainforest resort. Discover the many
enchanting highlightsof the rainforest. Day at
leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 05: Vythiri
Wake up amidst the sound of chirping birds and
tinkling streams around your cottage. Visit the
Edakkal Caves today. It is a pre-historic rock shelter
formed naturally out of a strange disposition of three
huge boulders resting on each other. Rest of the day
at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 06: Vythiri - Kannur
(75kms/3hrs)Drive to Kannur, which abounds in a wealth
of natural beauty and has been a key contributor to
the cultural, religious, political and industrial
heritage of the State. Check into your resort. Later
drive to the Muzhipillangad beach, which is Kerala's
only drive-in beach. You could drive along the virgin
beach or be mesmerised by its stunning location.

DAY 07: Kannur - Tellicherry
(21kms/1hrs)Drive to Tellicherry, a vibrant fishing
town in the north of Calicut which is famous for the 3
C's- Circus, Cricket and Cakes. It is known for being
the first British settlement in Kerala and needless to
say Cakes and Cricket were both introduced here by the
British. . Visit the colourful Theyyam dance in a
temple near the resort. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 08: Tellicherry - Cochin
(By Train)
Drive to Tellicherry railway station and
board a train to Ernakulam. Enjoy a short train
journey through some very picturesque rail routes. On
arrival, transfer to the hotel. You could go for an
optional sightseeing tour to explore the many
fascinating highlights of Cochin which include - The
Jewish Synagogue in what is locally called the Jew
Town, St. Francis Church which is the oldest European
Church in India, the Santa Cruz Basilica built in 1557
by the Portuguese, the Dutch Palace, the Spice market
and the 15th century Chinese fishing nets believed to
have been brought by Chinese traders. Rest of the day
at leisure. Enjoy a sunset cruise in the evening along
Cochin harbour. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 09: Cochin
You could spend your last day at leisure shopping in
the bustling metropolis. Enjoy a full body Ayurveda
massage. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 10: Cochin - Departure
Departure transfer to cochin airport for return
flight.
